About the service
BallparkMods is a free, community-run site for sharing sports-game mods. It is a fan project and is not affiliated with EA Sports or any game publisher. We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the site at any time.
Your account
You sign in through Discord, GitHub or Patreon. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must be old enough to use those services in your country.
Acceptable use
- No pirated or cracked games, and no links to them — mods only.
- Credit original authors, and honor takedown or credit requests.
- Don't upload malware, or anything illegal or harmful.
- No harassment, hate, or spam. Be decent to other members.
- Don't abuse, scrape or try to break the site.
Your content
You keep ownership of the mods and other content you post. By posting, you grant BallparkMods a non-exclusive license to host, store and display that content so the site can function. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to share what you upload. You can request removal of your content at any time.
Other people's content and downloads
Mods are created by community members, not by us. We don't verify or guarantee any file. Download and install at your own risk — always read the included readme and back up your saves first. Some mods link out to files hosted elsewhere; those sites have their own terms.
Moderation
We may hide, remove or edit content, and suspend or remove accounts, that break these terms or harm the community — with or without notice. Found a problem? Use the report option on a mod, or the contact page.
Supporters
Becoming a Supporter through Patreon helps cover hosting and removes ads for you. It is a contribution to running the site, not a purchase of any mod, and grants no ownership or special rights over content. You can cancel on Patreon anytime; your Supporter status then lapses.
No warranty
The site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for any damages arising from using the site or any mod downloaded through it.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves; continued use means you accept the current version. We'll revise the date above when we make changes.
