Who we are
BallparkMods ("we", "us") is a community-run site for sharing sports-game mods, hosted at ballparkmods.com. It is a fan project and is not affiliated with EA Sports or any game publisher.
What we collect
- Account info. When you sign in with Discord, GitHub or Patreon, we receive a user id and basic profile details (such as your name, email address and avatar) from that provider.
- Content you create. Mods you upload, plus comments, forum threads and posts, ratings and reports — along with the account that created them.
- Supporter status. If you link Patreon, we check whether you have an active pledge to our campaign and store a supporter expiry date. We do not store your payment details — those stay with Patreon.
- Basic technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request info) used to operate and secure the site.
How we use it
- To run your account and show your contributions with credit.
- To display mods, files, screenshots, comments and forum activity.
- To grant Supporter perks (an ad-free site) when Patreon confirms an active pledge.
- To keep the site working, prevent abuse and respond to reports.
Cookies
We use a sign-in session cookie so you stay logged in. We don't use cookies to track you across other sites.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We rely on a few service providers to run the site: our identity providers (Discord, GitHub, Patreon), object storage for files and images, our hosting provider, and — for visitors who aren't Supporters — an advertising provider. Public content you post (your handle, mods, comments and forum posts) is visible to anyone.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account and content while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and associated content at any time — reach us via the contact page. Some content may remain in backups for a short period before being overwritten.
Children
BallparkMods isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves; we'll revise the date above when we do.
